Sampling

Samples were collected in the courtyard of the Eurofins BLC site, in an open space just behind the lab. The lab itself is based in an industrial site in Northampton, in England’s East Midlands region. Eurofins BLC is a provider of risk management solutions for the leather, and synthetic material supply chains.
Sampling took place between 30/07/24 to 06/08/24 during a week of warm weather in the UK, with sporadic rain.
Rainwater and dust particles were collected in the 2L bottles, according to the procedure, before being sent to Eurofins Analytical Services in Hungary for distribution to the appropriate labs for analysis.
